An Old Dress in the Making - Myosotis by Deer and Dow

When I started making this dress it was not a new release. However it was still a relatively new design. Life happened and it... well, aged, in a box. Last August I almost finished it. Life happened again... Then last month  I decided to give it the finishing touches it needed. Just few little details, it was meant to be quick and sweet. The buttons and button holes where all finished last year, the skirt was attached, as well as the collar. I actually changed more things, then one could imagine could to be changed on this dress instead... and, again, I thought, it was almost done.  Well, it was this close to finishing: Far, far away.... from being finished. Who would sea dress this long and have it this wrong?! Despite the few metres of had-stitching on hems and gathers, it was far from being ready. So unpicking of finishing stitching and the construction seam took place.  It needs waist stay, finishing the unexpected changes and will be ready. This week!!! Do you change plans, age p
